Caton, Imhoff named to second team in TCC, Class 3 District 7

Boonville girls’ volleyball coach Joedi Herzog said even though the Lady Pirates fell short of their intended goal this season, the team is building a strong foundation for future success.While the Lady Pirates closed out the 2024 season at 12-17 overall and 0-6 in the Tri-County Conference, Herzog did boast about the two players recently selected to the all-conference team in juniors Bella Imhoff and Mabry Caton.

Martin’s 19 points leads Pilot Grove boys over Glasgow, 49-29

The Pilot Grove boys’ middle school basketball outscored Glasgow 33-11 in the first two quarters and never looked back, beating the Yellowjackets Tuesday night in CAC action at Pilot Grove 49-29.As for the Pilot Grove girls, they fell to Glasgow in a thriller 34-33.The Pilot Grove boys, 10-2 on the season, opened the first quarter with a 16-4 lead against Glasgow and then outscored the Yellowjackets 17-7 in the second period to go into the half on top 33-11.
