Cindy Buckmaster

On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, Cindy said her last farewell to the Earth peacefully and joined in the hands of Denis Broadman and Frank Moudy. She was born in 1959 in St. Helena and passed away in a com-fort home in Ukiah. She will be missed by relatives and friends.

Leona Darlene Boehm

Leona Darlene Boehm, 83, formerly of Boonville passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Belton Regional Hospital. Visitation for Darlene will be Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral Home. Leona Darlene Boehm was born May 13, 1939, the daughter of Roy and Mary (Sumner) Turpin. She married Tom Boehm April 7, 1962, in Sedalia. Darlene was active in Boonville High School Booster club and member of the Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church. Her and her late husband owned and operated the Missouri Fiberglass Company in Pilot Grove. Darlene also worked as a 911 dispatcher and the Cooper County Jail. She was the Presiding Commissioner of Copper County from 1990 to 1992. Darlene retired in 2007 and moved to Foxwood Springs Senior Living in Raymore, MO in 2010. She was very active within the community volunteering at the library and annual fall festival. Darlene loved all her grandchildren, following them in their sporting activities and loved spending time with family and friends. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Leroy Turpin, and grandson Dylan Schrader. She is survived by her children Tom (Lisa) Boehm of Lee’s Summit, Royce (Tisha Shrout) Boehm of Belton, and Sid (Karla) Boehm of Boonville. She also leaves behind grandchildren Brandon Boehm, Austin (Kelli) Boehm, Evan (Ashley) Boehm, Tyler (Chandler) Boehm, Alexa (Jake) Boehm, and Kayleigh (Alyx) Schrader, and great-grandchildren Evalyn Rae Heisler and Charli Marie Boehm. Dorothy Ann Bock

Dorothy Ann Bock, age 87, of Laurie, Missouri, passed away on July 24, 2022, at her home with family by her side. Dorothy was born on August 7, 1934, to Henry and Martha Lang in Boonville, Missouri. Dorothy grew up on a farm with her brother Bob and attended St. Peter and Paul High School. In 1952, at age 18, she married the love of her life, James Valentine Bock of Pilot Grove, Missouri. Dorothy and Jim were married for 69 years.
