John A. Armstrong

RAYMORE - John A. Armstrong, 90, formerly of Boonville, MO, died on December 1st in Raymore, Missouri. He was born on October 7, 1931, on the family farm located east of McKittrick, MO. He was the fourth son of Joseph and Augusta Armstrong. John attended grade school in McKittrick, and High School in Hermann graduating in May of 1949. He was a member of the Hermann High School FFA Champion Dairy Judging Team. In 1952 he left the family farm to enlist in the United States Coast Guard, serving his country during the Korean War.
