Next week is Homecoming week for Boonville High School. The Boonville Pirates will take on the Hallsville Indians for the Homecoming game on Friday, September 12.

The Boonville Lady Pirates volleyball team fell short of reaching the .500 mark last year while finishing 12-17 overall and 0-6 in the Tri-County Conference.

After competing in a Jamboree against Centralia and Chillicothe last Friday night at Larry K. Noel Spartan Stadium in Moberly, Boonville Pirates football coach Greg Hough said the most important part of the night was coming away healthy.
