Miracle on Main Street coming first weekend in DecemberBy Laura WaxBoonville Daily News

The Boonville Pirates basketball team may have been the surprise of the Tri-County Conference in 2023-24 after finishing 6-0 under head coach Mark Anderson.Although the Pirates captured their first conference title in the TCC since joining in 2018, Anderson knows that repeating this season may be a little more difficult with teams like Blair Oaks, Southern Boone and Hallsville ready to take the top spot. With 25 players suited out in grades 9-12 this season, three of which are returning starters and four returning letterwinners, Anderson said he feels very good about the team this year.
