Missouri SBDC at SFCC to offer QuickBooks Online trainings

Sedalia, Mo – The Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at State Fair Community College will host Introduction and Advanced QuickBooks Online (QBO) training sessions in Fielding Technical Center on the SFCC Sedalia campus, room 291. Introduction to QuickBooks Online will be held 6-9 p.m. Feb. 18. The advanced training will be held 6-9 p.m. March 25. Cost is $49 per person, per session.

Missouri weekly gas price update

Average gasoline prices in Missouri have risen 1.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.74/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,940 stations in Missouri. Prices in Missouri are 6.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 9.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 3.7 cents in the last week and stands at $3.525 per gallon.

SFCC to close for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Sedalia, Mo – All State Fair Community College campus locations (Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Jefferson City, Lake of the Ozarks, Lincoln, Warsaw, and Whiteman Air Force Base) will close Jan. 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Campus Store, located inside Yeater Learning Center, Room 150 on the Sedalia campus will open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 20.

SFCC announces Fall 2024 Academic Honors

Sedalia, Mo – State Fair Community College has named the following students to the President’s, Dean’s and Trustees’ lists for the fall 2025 semester. To qualify for the President’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 in 12 or more SFCC GPA credit hours. For the Dean’s list, students must earn a semester SFCC GPA of 3.5-3.99 in 12 or more SFCC GPA credit hours. The Trustees’ list requires students to earn a semester GPA of 3.6-4.0 in six or more SFCC GPA credit hours.
