New Franklin Homecoming Royalty

University of Missouri System reports $6.5 billion in statewide economic impact

Columbia, Mo.— University of Missouri System leaders today announced the results of an economic impact study that found UM System and its four universities have a $6.5 billion economic impact on the state of Missouri. The study was conducted by Tripp Umbach, a nationally recognized firm that has completed more than 500 economic impact studies for clients across the globe.

Alliant Bank Gives Back with Donations to Local Organizations

Ed Thomas, Regional President of Alliant Bank in Cooper County, on behalf of Alliant Bank and its Board of Directors, recently presented five local organizations with donations to help them in their ventures to help assist those in need during the holidays. Boonslick Senior Center, Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Pantry, Harvest House and the local CMCA Care Basket Initiative each received donations of $700.00 from Alliant Bank to assist in helping the needs of those in our community. While each organization serves the needs of the county in different ways, they all serve a great need within our area. During the holidays, there seems to be a greater need, and Alliant Bank is happy to help these local organizations.
