Central Missouri honor flight returns to the key on May 9
After a more than two-year postponement of flights due to the pandemic, Central Missouri Honor Flight (CMHF) is preparing for its first flight of the 2022 flight season on Monday, May 9. Veterans, some of whom have waited more than three years for their Honor Flight, will be treated to the trip of a lifetime to Washington, DC, to see the memorials dedicated to their military service.

Six students will be heading to state competition after competing at the MSHSAA District music festival at State Fair Community College in Sedalia. This the first time to perform at this festival since 2019.

The Boonville Silver Pirate Band musicians participated in the MSHSAA District Solo & Small Ensemble Music Festival at State Fair Community College on March 26 in Sedalia. These 27 musicians participated in 24 events.
Bunceton students submit 10 entries for Senate Hall Art Exhibit
Bunceton School art instructor, Jessica Gutierrez, announced, “Each school was able to submit 10 entries for the Senate Hall Art Exhibit contest. Bella Vaca’s entry was chosen from all schools in Senate District 19 where Caleb Rowden is Senator. It will be exhibited in the Senate hall for an entire year! Yesterday (March 23) we went for the awards ceremony where she got to meet Senator Rowden. Then Representative Tim Taylor announced us on the House Floor and took us up to the top of the Capitol building! It was an awesome day!”
