As the Constitution couldn’t allow for every possible situation the American people would face in the future, our founding fathers were wise enough to leave a means for making changes as needed. Some changes are done by passing Acts or laws, others require Amendments. Here are three changes that have taken place in our original Constitution.

JEFFERSON CITY – Every spring, as snow and ice fade to an unpleasant memory, attention turns to trash that has accumulated on roadsides during the winter months. The Missouri Department of Transportation would like to invite all who use Missouri roads to join us in doing some spring cleaning throughout the month of April.
The Missouri House has been making steady progress in passing legislation that a majority of those we represent would like. One major “snag” in that progress has been the drawing of the congressional districts within the state. I foresee that unless the political grandstanding ceases, another year will pass without substantial progress.
