Bunceton receives Bayer Grant

Sarah Kuschel, a patron of the Cooper County R-IV School District, and a favorite substitute teacher of the district, recommended the school for a $5000 STEM grant. Superintendent Dr. Kathryn Anderson was called upon to write a grant management plan, and submitted it in January. Sarah and the district were notified of their selection for the STEM grant in late February. The school’s STEM club will use the additional funding to grow and develop its rocketry and robotics projects. “It’s a really cool opportunity to learn some new engineering skills in a fun and exciting way,” said freshman Emaly Haas.
