Boonslick Regional Library’s Outreach Services, BRLMobile2GO, provides outreach to Pettis, Benton and Cooper counties to residents who are not able to visit a library location, including senior centers, day cares, schools, community centers and remote areas. BRL2GO provides free Wi-Fi access to rural communities, brings books to community centers, schools and rural areas, delivers books on a schedule each month, brings specifically requested titles or a new collection at each visit, and provides all Outreach Services free of charge. Before any awards were given, names were drawn from the box filled with names of students who had read books during the second semester. The names drawn were Beau Benny and Emma Leonard who were presented with bicycles donated by Travis Burnett Mutual Insurance Agency of Bunceton and Rick Ball Ford of Sedalia.

Sedalia, Mo – State Fair Community College has named the following students to the President’s, Dean’s and Trustees’ lists for the spring 2025 semester. To qualify for the President’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 in 12 or more SFCC GPA credit hours. For the Dean’s list, students must earn a semester SFCC GPA of 3.5-3.99 in 12 or more SFCC GPA credit hours. The Trustees’ list requires students to earn a semester GPA of 3.6-4.0 in six or more SFCC GPA credit hours.
Beginning in August of 2024 and running through the year, the Cooper County Public Health Center conducted a comprehensive community health assessment.

“After many years with Aging Best, the Boonslick Senior Center is going independent effective July 1, 2025,” announced board member Kathy Loerzel. “This means we will be doing in-house cooking which gives us the opportunity to make meals more dietary friendly.”
