Tucked away in the tiny village of Arrow Rock, population 52, is one of Mid-Missouri’s greatest treasures. Originally built as a Baptist church, it was converted to a theater after churches had consolidated congregations, leaving the Arrow Rock Baptist Church vacant.

LINDSBORG, KAN. (June 1, 2022) - Bethany College, in Lindsborg, Kansas has named 213 students to the Academic Dean’s Honor Roll for spring 2022. Students must be enrolled fulltime with a semester grade point average of at least 3.50, to qualify.
JEFFERSON CITY – The replacement of the U.S. Route 40 bridge over Salt Creek and the Katy Trail is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 6, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation (Mo- DOT). The 80-year-old bridge will be replaced by a smoother, wider bridge which will improve motorist safety.

The tragic events at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas last week bring the safety and security of the school buildings in Boonville to the forefront of resident’s minds. While the school year is over, many children in the area are participating in summer school and various school sponsored camps and activities.
