Over the last 30 plus months, COVID-19 has received a lot of attention in the news, on all levels. But, in recent weeks, the updates have been released less frequently.
Even with separation of church and state, it’s hard not to see God woven into America’s history. The Declaration of Independence refers to “...Nature’s God...” and “... endowed by their Creator...”. Both the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution are dated “...in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ...”.

On June 1, Cooper County Deputies were dispatched to the Missouri River Bridge Construction site off of I-70 reference to a theft that had occurred. Stolen from the site was approximately $80,000 worth of tools and equipment.

Johnathan C. Todd, 33 of Boonville, was arrested on Thursday, July 28 by Cooper County Deputies on a Cooper County warrant.
Along with school supplies, new clothes, and possibly a new haircut, some students will require a set of immunizations before starting or returning to school. Missouri students are required by law to receive childhood immunizations or file exemption forms.
Free sports physicals for all middle school and high school students will be offered at Mizzou Therapy Services in Boonville on Friday, August 5th 2022 from 2-4 p.m. The address is 1420 W.

The courtyard at Boonville High School is a small area enclosed on all four sides by the building itself. Access the area has always been difficult, as one must pass through classrooms to reach it, making even simple tasks, such as cutting the grass, complicated.

Boonville and the surrounding area got some much-needed rain over the past several days. Reported amounts ranged from 0.5” to 1.75”. Fields and lawns alike perked up with the precipitation and lower temperatures that were associated with the rainfall and puddles could be seen on roadways.
