Boonville Daily News Downtown New Franklin is gearing up for the 2022 Santa Fe Trail Days. This year, September 16 – 17 will see Broadway in New Franklin alive with Vendors, food, great music, beer garden, kids fun, parade, and much more! The festivities will kick of Friday evening with a car cruise-in from 6p.m.

Central Missouri Honor Flight (CMHF) will be flying 95 veterans on a trip of a lifetime to Washington, D.C.—including one World War II veteran! On Friday, August 12. The passenger list for mission #64 will include 5 Korean War veterans, 89 Vietnam veterans and 1 veteran who served bravely in WWII.

Matt Schneringer, Josh Snoddy, and Matt Peiter all assisted the Boonville Kiwanis Club on Saturday as they ‘Packed the Bus’ with school supplies and collected monetary donations for more supplies. The supplies will be packed according to grade level and distributed to any child who lives in the Boonville area in grades kindergarten through 5th grade. Distribution will take place Sunday August 14 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Lions Park.
