Bunceton art students participate in sketch day at state capitol

On October 10th, six schools from the Show Me Central Conference participated in the sketch day at the Missouri State Capitol. Bunceton Art instructor, Katrina Matthias organized the event inviting all the conference schools. Matthias informed me that “Bunceton, Chamois, Prairie Home, Tuscumbia, Vienna, and St. Elizabeth competed in 6 categories of art mediums. Students had 3 hours to draw something they saw at the Capitol building. Aaydin Zimmerman received 1st place for colored pencils, Cheyanne Davis received 3rd for graphite, and Taylor Krafft received 1st for pastels. All the students worked hard and produced some awesome art.”
