The CCSB 14U team completed their softball season at Osage Beach on June 28th with a win. They had a great team winning seven games and losing four games. Members of the team were Milly Waller, Lynlee Dicus, Riley Arnold, Josie Long, Aubrey Thompson, Stella Rhode, Myah West, Kaylee Kuschel, Justice Case, Kynna Knapheide, and Mahayla Rambo. They were coached by Tasha Knapheide and Angie Rambo.

Road trip across Montana reconnects people and places
Montana was my dream. I believe it began with watching Lonesome Dove as a boy. In the movie, Montana is the Promised Land. When Captain Call decides to end the cattle drive, as he gazes out over the majestic landscape, he accepts he would find no place more perfect. I know the feeling. Montana is special.
Friends of Arrow Rock Visiting Artists Series Returns
Arrow Rock, Mo. — The popular Visiting Artists Series program in Arrow Rock, Missouri will resume for the summer months on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26, 2022. Visitors may observe creators in various handmade art forms working at their craft, discuss their work and vision with them, and enjoy viewing some of their finished wares.

Bunceton Alumni held their biannual banquet on May 28, 2022. There were approximately 60 alumni in attendance.

Sundown Concert Series
The Friends of Historic Boonville are once again hosting the Sundown Concert Series. Held each Friday in June, these informal performances are given in the Hain House Gardens at 412 Fourth Street.

Missouri Women’s Business Center hold ribbon cutting
The Missouri Women’s Business Center held a ribbon cutting on Friday, June 10 at their new Boonville office, located in the South end of the Katy Depot on First Street. Not only did they celebrate their new location, but they also celebrated their sixth anniversary.
