It’s right around the corner, so be sure your calendar is marked on Saturday, October 18, for the 4th Annual Sippin’ Strollin’ Rockin’ & Rollin’ celebration in Historic Downtown Boonville! Invite your family and friends and come join the fun! Downtown Boonville will be THE place to be for the event that will again be co-sponsored by the Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of the Library for the Boonslick Regional Library—Cooper County Branch. It will feature tastings and sales of a variety of wines, craft beers, and distillery spirits that will be presented by their signature establishments. In addition to the wide variety of distinctive beverages, delicious fare will be provided by local restaurants and well know food trucks from central Missouri that will be located throughout the event area.

Senior day: Still of value

On Saturday, September 6, the River of Life (ROL) Church sponsored an all-day Senior Day designed to encourage, uplift, and let Seniors know they were Still of Value. Over fifty seniors attended and enjoyed a day filled with a free breakfast and lunch, two gifted and uplifting speakers, brief information sessions, free services, and hourly giveaways.

BRLMOBILE2GO summer outreach schedule

Boonslick Regional Library’s Outreach Services, BRLMobile2GO, provides outreach to Pettis, Benton and Cooper counties to residents who are not able to visit a library location, including senior centers, day cares, schools, community centers and remote areas. BRL2GO provides free Wi-Fi access to rural communities, brings books to community centers, schools and rural areas, delivers books on a schedule each month, brings specifically requested titles or a new collection at each visit, and provides all Outreach Services free of charge. We look forward to serving you!
