The newly independent Boonslick Senior Center hosted their first fundraiser on Sunday, June 22, at the Center at 520 Ryan. Matt Buerkey did the honors with his famous BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, or one could enjoy a full meal with hashbrown casserole, baked beans, dessert, and drink. A steady flow of diners kept the serving line hopping. Many stayed to dine in while others ordered and carried-out. The Senior Center’s next fundraiser will be a Golf Tournament at Hail Ridge on July 11. Photo by Elizabeth Davis
