On Tuesday, June 11, the kids at the Children’s Learning Garden learned about plant parts and propagation from Master Gardener Cheri Jones. Later, Master Gardener Jackie Hickam showed the kids how to build potato people using vegetables. Making potato people is one of the most popular craft nights. In the garden the kids were taught how to cut basil and then made pesto from their gathering.
