The LSE boys and girls eighth grade basketball teams had different outlooks Wednesday night in the Centralia Middle School Basketball Tournament. While the LSE boys defeated Centralia 38-20, the Lady Pirates fell to the host school by a score of 38-23.
George Grindstaff, 88, passed away November 30, 2021 at the Riverdell Care Center in Boonville, MO. Norman George Grindstaff was born March 23, 1933 in Harrisburg, MO, a son to the late Grover and Mary Elizabeth (Howard) Grindstaff.
John A. Armstrong, 90, formerly of Hermann, MO, died on December 1st in Raymore, Missouri. He was born on October 7, 1931, on the family farm located east of McKittrick, MO. He was the fourth son of Joseph and Augusta Armstrong.
The Boonville City Council will have a say Monday night during its annual meeting whether the Fox Hollow Subdivision will finally move forward. In the last council meeting, several area residents expressed their concern on the subdivision and annexing it into the city of Boonville.
