Bunceton celebrates Valentine’s Day with STEM

Kim Thompson, STEM advisor, had special activities for the elementary. She reported, “Bunceton Elementary students celebrated Valentine’s Day with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities. The students put together a 5-foottall Valentine puzzle, constructed objects using heart-shaped gummies and toothpicks, watched demonstrations about the heart, and flew paper airplanes. At the conclusion of the event, they decorated heartshaped cookies baked by Sheila Blake’s Family and Consumer Science students.”
