Brady stays close to home, signs football LOI at CMU

Boonville senior Daireus Brady knew during his recruiting process that CMU would be the best fit for him and his family. After signing a national letter of intent with teammate DaWan Lomax on Tuesday, February 15 in the media center at Boonville High School, Brady said another plus was the proximity being only 15 miles from Boonville.

Meisenheimer, Hall named MVPs in CCAA

Jamestown’s Ginna Meisenheimer and Calvary Lutheran’s Kwesi Hall were selected as Most Valuable Players in the Cooper County Activities Association Conference (CCAA) for the 2021-22 season. Meisenheimer led the Lady Eagles to a 2-0 record in league play by beating both Bunceton/Prairie Home and Calvary Lutheran.

Welch, Wilson selected MVPs in CAC

It didn’t come as a surprise that the two best boy’s and girl’s teams would also have the Most Valuable Players for the 2021-22 season. While the Community girls captured the Central Activities Conference title at 10-0, the Cairo boys also finished undefeated in league play at 9-0.
