Deloris Murphy Stephenson Patton was born March 11, 1936, in Albany Missouri to Retha Siddens Murphy and Thomas Dale Murphy. She wed J. Marshall Patton on June 27th, 1981, and they lived on his family farm in Albany until 1991. They co-managed two independent living facilities until they moved to Boonville in 1993.
Rhonda Fay (Baker) Homan, 60, of Boonville passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 10, 2022, in Boonville. No services will be held at this time.
Donna Jean Bodamer, 96, Independence, MO for merly of Boonville, MO, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Johnna and Kevin Wingate in Indepen dence March 8, 2022. She was born July 10, 1925 to Gladys and Ernest Leonard in Fairbury, NE.

The Hannah Cole Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution held their annual Awards Tea on Saturday, March 5th. At the annual Awards Tea, the DAR members recognize their scholarship winner and members of the community and organization for their outstanding work in the past year. This year awards were presented were: DAR Good Citizen, Hannah Cole Scholarship recipient, DAR Youth Citizenship, Bronze JROTC Medal, and Hannah Cole Community Service.
Sedalia, Missouri – March 2, 2022 – On Feb. 22, officials from Central Methodist University and State Fair Community College signed a new agreement that gives students an easy path to a Master of Science in Athletic Training when they begin at SFCC. The signing ceremony was held on SFCC’s Sedalia campus and originally scheduled for Feb. 4 but was rescheduled because of inclement weather.
The Boonville Pirates and Lady Pirates wrestling teams recently had five members selected to the Tri-County All-Conference Team for the 2021-22 season. The Pirates closed out the season at 6-10 overall and 3-4 in the TCC, while the Lady Pirates finished 6-4-1 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
The Boonville Pirates baseball team will participate in a Jamboree on Saturday, March 12 at Liberty Park in Sedalia.
