WASHINGTON (AP) — A man suspected of stalking and shooting homeless people asleep on the streets of New York City and Washington was arrested early Tuesday. Police said at least two people were killed and three others wounded in the attacks.

The Boonslick Softball League is currently holding signups for girls ages 4-18 for the 2022 season. Although all girls can participate in the league, they must be between 4-18 as of January 1.
The Boonville girls’ soccer team will have a new look this season. Along with a new head coach in Alec Adair and assistant coach Tara Brackman, the Lady Pirates will also have a new outlook on the 2022 season with 25 girls suited out with seven returning starters and 12 returning letter winners.
Boonville boys track coach Ryan Lyons used the word “potential” when describing the 2022 version of the Pirates. With 28 athletes currently on the roster, Boonville boys track coach Ryan Lyons will look to eight varsity starters and seven returning letterwinners for the upcoming season.
The Boonville girls track team may not be big on numbers this season, but when it comes to toughness and determination to be competitive the Lady Pirates could be as good as anyone in 2022. With only 16 girls suited out for the upcoming season, head coach Melissa Baker will return seven starters from last year’s team which finished sixth in the Tri-County Conference.
Boonville senior Addi Brownfield was recently named to the KRES All-Star Basketball Team for the 2021-22 season. Brownfield, a four year selection on the all-star team, led the Lady Pirates in scoring with 24.0 ppg along with 6.1 rpg, 5.1 spg and 4.7 apg.
