(March 24, 2022) ― The Missouri Cancer Registry and Research Center is one of seven state registries to be added to the prestigious National Cancer Institute (NCI) Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program. NCI is part of the National Institutes of Health. The contract will enhance Missouri’s infrastructure for cancer surveillance, treatment and research.

Boonville girls’ soccer coach Alec Adair called Tuesday night’s 7-0 loss against the Columbia Hickman Kewpies as “good teaching points” for the rest of the season. Although the Lady Pirates trailed only 2-0 at the half against Hickman, Adair said the girls simply ran out of gas in the second half while giving up five goals to suffer the loss.
