Charges refiled in Missouri boat sinking that killed 17

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s office has refiled involuntary manslaughter charges against three men in connection with the sinking of a tourist boat that killed 17 people in 2018. The vehicle, known as a duck boat, sank during a storm shortly after it entered Table Rock Lake near Branson on July 19, 2018.

Dell captures first in four events in Centralia Meet

The Boonville boys track team had another dominating performance on Monday with 10 first place finishes in the Centralia Meet. While no team scores were kept for the meet, Boonville track coach Ryan Lyons said it was another great day of competition for the boys.

Pilot Grove holds on to beat Jamestown 8-6, improves to 9-1

The Pilot Grove baseball team scratched and clawed its way past a good Jamestown team Tuesday night while holding on for an 8-6 victory. The Tigers, 9-1 on the season, opened the game with four runs in the top of the first only to have Jamestown rally back with one in its half of the second.

New Franklin gets much needed win against Smithton

The New Franklin baseball team finally had a game go its way Monday night on the road against the Smithton Tigers. After dropping back-toback extra inning ball games last week at the hands of the Cairo Bearcats and Salisbury Panthers, the Bulldogs finally got to breath a sigh of relief with a 11-0 win in five innings against Smithton.
