Boonville boys finish third in Ron Whitaker Invitational

The Boonville boys’ girls track teams found out where they stood Friday during the Ron Whitaker Invitational at Mexico High School. While competing against schools from the North Central Missouri Conference along with the Tri-County Conference, the Boonville boys track team once again rose to the occasion by finishing third out of eight teams.

Boonville golfers compete in quad

The Boonville Pirates golf team finished with a team score of 424 while competing in an 18 hole match held Thursday at Old Hawthorne County Club in Columbia. Centralia, Eugene and California also participated in the quad.

Shaw leads New Franklin boys in Salisbury Relays

The New Franklin boys and girls middle school track teams had a successful day while competing in the Salisbury Relays Thursday at Glasgow. For the New Franklin girls, Lily Chitwood placed second in the triple jump at 8.79 meters, third in the long jump at 4.24 meters, fourth in the 800 in 2:57.63 and eighth in the 200 in 30.74 seconds.

Clark, Rice lead New Franklin boys and girls in Tomahawk Relays

The New Franklin boys and girls track teams competed against some of its strongest competition yet for the season on Friday during the Hallsville Tomahawk Relays. Although the New Franklin boys and girls had no first place finishers in the meet, Drake Clark placed second in the 200 meter dash in a time of 24.83 seconds and fourth in the 100 meter dash in 12.65 seconds.
