Citizen’s Community Bank remains unbeaten in Minor at 3-0

Citizen’s Community Bank of Pilot Grove held nothing back Thursday night against Axis Seed in Cal Ripken Minor by scoring in every inning for a 14-4 victory. CCB, improving to 3-0 on the season, opened the game with one run in the first inning and then sent six runs across in the second, three again in the third and four in the fourth to win by the mercy rule.

Tom Brady to join Fox Sports when playing career ends

NEW YORK (AP) — Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady will join Fox Sports as its lead football analyst once his playing career ends, the network said Tuesday. When that actually happens is unclear, because Brady recently changed his mind about retiring and said he plans to continue playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his 23rd NFL season.

The Mizzou COME HOME Tour stopped in Boonville on Tuesday May 10 at the Brick Room at the Hotel Frederick. On hand were Voice of the Tigers Mike Kelly, Missouri Director of Athletics Desireé Reed-Francois, and Missouri men’s basketball coach Dennis Gates.
