Area teams to compete in Higbee Shootout

The Sixth Annual Higbee Shootout will include some of the best teams from central Missouri on June 1-3 and 13-18 at Higbee High School. Four different classes will make up both the boys and girls divisions.

QuinlanAgency.com didn’t make it easy on Huebert Fiberboard Wednesday night in Cal Ripken Major at the COCOBA Ball Field. Although Huebert Fiberboard entered the game with the better record, QA.com kept the game close until the very end before bowing out 5-4.

Muhr named to leadership positions at Missouri Soccer Park, Boonville Soccer Academy

Boonville, MO — Missouri Soccer Park has named former St. Louis Ambush Head Coach Greg Muhr as Park Director. On top of this position, Muhr will also take up the role of Technical Director for Boonville Soccer Academy. Through these positions, Muhr will oversee operations at Missouri Soccer Park and will facilitate growth for Boonville’s youth soccer club, Boonville Soccer Academy (BSA).

Mendez signs basketball LOI at CMU

Boonville senior Haylie Mendez recently signed a national letter of intent to play basketball for Central Methodist University in Fayette under head coach Mike Davis.
