Fayette recorded its second win of the season by beating Tint Shop 6-2 in Midget League action Tuesday night at the Midget League. Fayette, 2-8 on the season, scored all six runs in the first two innings against Tint Shop with four in the first and two again in the second.
In 12U softball Tuesday night at Rolling Hills Park, JPS Productions and State Farm played to a 12-12 tie after scoring six runs each in the first two innings. Kylee Fizer pitched both innings for JPS Productions and gave up 12 runs on three hits and 10 walks.
Citizen’s Community Bank won 16-10 over Boonville Abstract in 10U softball Wednesday night at Lions Park. After playing to a 6-6 tie in the first inning, CCB plated six more runs in the second and four again in the third for the win.
Boonville Ready Mix scored nine of its 13 runs in the first two innings to beat QuinlanAgency.com 13-2 in Cal Ripken Major Wednesday night at Harley Park. BRM, 9-3 on the season, opened the game with six runs in the first and then sent three runs across in the second and four again in the fifth.
In Instructional League play Monday night at New Franklin, Chipley and Company defeated Jennings Premium Meats 11-9 while Shelter Insurance edged GKC CPAs 9-7. After playing to a 6-6 tie after three innings, Chipley and Company outscored Jennings Premium Meats 5-3 over the next three innings for the win.
A-Bow-K rallied from a four runs deficit after 3 ½ by scoring five runs in the bottom half of the fourth to beat Pilot Grove COOP 12-11 Wednesday night in Midget League action at Kemper Park. A-Bow-K, 7-3 on the season, led Pilot Grove COOP 5-3 after one but was outscored 4-2 in the second to tie the game at 7-all.
Axis Seed picked up its fourth win of the season Wednesday night in Cal Ripken Minor by beating Rt. B Café 18-7.
