Alro Steel donates $100,000 to SFCC’s capital campaign

Sedalia, Missouri – June 23, 2022 –The State Fair Community College Foundation has received $100,000 from Alro Steel for its Stronger Workforce, Greater Community capital campaign to fund the Olen Howard Workforce Innovation Center. This new building, which opened on June 9, on the Sedalia campus expanded the college’s capacity to meet the growing demand for technical workforce training and strengthen the communities it serves.

Renee Morril and Finn

Renee Morril and Finn competed in the annual Mutt Strut for Heritage Days. Finn won first place in the Most Unique category.

Carnival Kings

Carnival Kings provided the carnival for Heritage Days this year. Located along Second Street, it featured rides, bounce houses, games, and of course fair food.

Carnival King provided bouncy houses as well as rides for Heritage Days. Children both big and small had a blast climbing and sliding.
