The Boonville 8-year-old All-Stars have been selected for the upcoming 2022 tournament season. Boonville Cal Ripken President Mike Watts said 15 players will make up the team, which will begin play in the Midwest Plains Regional Tournament on July 21 in Boonville.

The Central Missouri Prospects 11U baseball team captured the state title in the USSA Missouri State Championships on Sunday, June 26 at Capitol Federal Sports Complex in Liberty, Missouri. The CM Prospects finished the tournament at 5-0-1 overall to win the title.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – All-purpose player Jeremy Maclin and defensive lineman Justin Smith are included on the 2023 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, it was announced by the National Football Foundation (NFF) on Monday. The ballot totals 80 players and nine coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 96 players and 33 coaches from the divisional ranks.
