Pirate Football Youth Prep Camp slated for July 25-27 at Gene Reagan Field

The annual Pirate Football Youth Prep Camp will be held on July 25-27 at Gene Reagan Field for kids in grades kindergarten through eighth grade from 4:30-6 p.m. Kids in grades kindergarten through sixth grade will include a fundamental camp, which will allow athletes to participate in a variety of skill and drill stations led by BHS staff and athletes.

Boonville 8-year-olds All-Stars to play Missouri Mavericks in doubleheader

The Boonville 8-year-old All-Stars will get a chance to showcase their skills this weekend during the 8-year-old Player Pitch Invitational at Harley Park in Boonville. According to COCOBA (Cooper County Baseball Association) President Mike Watts, the Boonville 8 All-Stars will play a doubleheader against the Missouri Mavericks out of Columbia on Saturday, July 23 at 11 a.m.

Not one, but two hole in ones

Boonville’s Jake Horst and Aden Rapp had the shot of a lifetime while competing in the Fourth Annual Dean Caldwell Memorial Tournament on Saturday, July 16 at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville. Both golfers picked up their first ever hole-in-one during the tournament. Horst recorded his hole in one on the No. 7 green, which was witnessed by Viertel, Hunter Spaedy and Ben Horst.
