Boonville Football

Boonviille junior receiver Dakota Troost hauls in a pass from quarterback Colby Caton during Friday night’s Jamboree against Hallsville at Larry K. Noel Spartan Stadium in Moberly. The Boonville Pirates football team finished 1-0-1 on the night by beating Hallsville 18-6 and finishing in a 6-6 tie against Moberly. Boonville will host the Pleasant Hill Roosters this coming Friday night in the season opener at Gene Reagan Field, starting at 7 p.m.

The New Franklin girls softball team will have a new look for the 2022 season. With long time head coach Ross Dowell taking over the duties as principal at New Franklin, the Lady Bulldogs looked no further than assistant coach Sam Crowley to carry on the tradition as head coach for the 2022 season.
