Pirates to face stiff challenge in season opener against P. Hill

Entering his fifth year at the helm for the Boonville Pirates football team, Coach Greg Hough knows this season could be his toughest right out of the gate. Although Hough isn’t one to back down from a challenge, the season opener on August 26 against the Pleasant Hill Roosters will be a worthy opponent for the Pirates just the same.

You can also visit our website at www.oatstransit. org and click on your county under the tab “Bus Schedules” to view your local schedule. OATS Transit is available to the rural general public of any age, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. We also contract with a number of agencies to serve their clients. We are hiring drivers statewide in case you know of someone who would make a great driver, so we can continue serving our riders. OATS Transit offices will be closed and regular routes will not be running on Monday, September 5, 2022 for Labor Day. Please keep this in mind as you schedule trips near this holiday.

Prairie Home churches show appreciation for teachers

Prairie Home Correspondent The churches of Prairie Home showed their appreciation for teachers during their in-service training the week before school started. On Monday, August 15th, the Prairie Home First Baptist Church brought a delicious breakfast to the school.
