Pirates get the perfect bounce back game with 42-6 win over Marshall

Boonville Daily News The Boonville Pirates football team had the perfect bounce back game Friday night on the road against the Marshall Owls-a former NCMC rival. After losing in Week 1 at home against a good Pleasant Hill team 47-14, the Pirates came back Friday night against a young Owls team to lead from the first quarter on for a 42-6 victory.

Neidig wins in singles, teams up with Baker at No. 1 doubles to beat Osage

The Boonville Lady Pirates tennis team had a tough night on Thursday while hosting School of the Osage in the third match in four days. After winning its first match of the season the night before against Carrollton 6-3, the Lady Pirates appeared to have had nothing left Thursday at home against Osage while losing by a score of 7-2.

Lady Pirates can’t keep up with Hallsville in 12-1 loss in TCC

It’s no surprise that the Boonville Lady Pirates softball team had nothing left in the tank Thursday night on the road against the Hallsville Indians. After all, the Lady Pirates were playing their sixth game in six days-third in a row-after going 3-0 in the Lady Pirate Lead Off Classic last Saturday and then games against Hickman, Southern Boone and Hallsville in as many days.

Lady Pirates show improvement in three-set loss to California

The Boonville Lady Pirates volleyball team can’t seem to catch a break after playing its second conference opponent in as many games Thursday night at the Windsor gymnasium. After losing in three straight Tuesday night at home against the Southern Boone Eagles, the Lady Pirates dropped another threeset match Thursday against a good California squad 18-25, 14-25 and 14-25.
