The Boonville Lady Pirates tennis team picked up its second win of the season Monday night at home by beating the Knob Noster Lady Panthers 6-3. The Lady Pirates, 2-6 on the season, recorded wins in four out of the six singles matches and then came back to post wins in two out of three doubles matches.

The Missouri 4-H Foundation recognizes individuals who have created a legacy of service to 4-H by honoring them with membership in the Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame. The Lady Bulldogs, 7-5 on the season, never trailed in the game against Paris while plating two runs in each of the second and third inning to go up 4-0.

Boonville girls’ volleyball coach Brittney Lowe said if the girls could play every set like they did their first set, they will go a long way.
