Belstle selected MVP in CAC for 2022 season

It came as no surprise that the New Franklin Lady Bulldogs softball team had the MVP of the conference for the 2022 season. After all, the Lady Bulldogs did just finish the Central Activities Conference undefeated at 7-0 and win both the district tournament and first round of the state playoffs just last week by beating a good Jamestown team 4-1.

Boonville falls in final home game against Smith-Cotton, 3-1

It’s not the result the Boonville Pirates soccer team was looking for Thursday night in the final home game of the 2022 season against the Smith-Cotton Tigers. But after dropping a 3-1 decision against the Tigers at the Boonville City Soccer Fields, head coach Alec Adair said he was happy with the team’s second half effort, but they just need to make it a whole 80 minutes to get the results they want.

Salisbury ends New Franklin’s season in quarters

The New Franklin Lady Bulldogs softball team knew the stakes Saturday in a Class 1 quarterfinal game against the Salisbury Panthers. Win and move on to the semifinal round of the state tournament at Killian Softball Complex in Springfield or lose and close out the season.
