The Cooper County Historical Society (CCHS) hosted a fundraiser breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon at the Pilot Grove Community Center at 300 Progress on Sunday, October 23. Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and biscuits & gravy were just the beginning. An equally long table of coffee cakes, rolls, breads, muffins, and cookies assured the attendees that no one left hungry. A free-will donation was accepted for this delicious and filling breakfast.
Fifteen players from Boonville, New Franklin and Pilot Grove were recently selected to their respective All-District Teams in softball for the 2022 season. While the Lady Pirates had three players selected to the all-district team in Class 3, District 4, New Franklin had eight players selected all-district in Class 1 District 6 while Pilot Grove had four in Class 1, District 5.
