The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons volleyball team started the 2022 season like they finished the 2021 season: as champions in the Tri-County Conference. As the Class 3 defending state champions in volleyball last year, Blair Oaks seemed to have little trouble with teams in conference play by finishing undefeated with a record of 7-0.

The Boonville Pirates soccer team was hoping for a series sweep against the Moberly Spartans Thursday night in the regular season finale at Moberly. After beating the Spartans 2-0 back on October 13 in Boonville, the Pirates felt a win was there for the taking against Moberly.
