Riley Equine Center to host fundraising chili dinner

Riley Equine Center was formed in 2010 as an independent not-for-profit corporation to respond to a local need for affordable therapy and recreation for people of all ages. Services that are offered include instruction for children and adults with mild physical and/or cognitive disabilities, at-risk individuals, as well as able-bodied students. With a goal to see progress and happiness in their riders.

Library Update Presented to City Council

BOONVILLE, MO – An update on the progress of the Boonslick Regional Library’s relocation to the Kemper Campus was presented to the Boonville City Council at Monday night’s meeting. “We’re still raising money, but we’re ready to move forward,” explained Mary Pat Abele, Chair of the Cooper County Building and Expansion Committee of Boonslick Regional Library (BRL).

Pilot Grove girls, New Franklin boys win battle of CAC teams

In a battle of two CAC teams Tuesday night in New Franklin, the New Franklin boys defeated the Pilot Grove Tigers in a close game 32-29 while the Lady Tigers upended the Lady Bulldogs 25-23. The Lady Tigers, improving to 9-7 on the season, opened the game with a 12-6 lead in the first quarter to lead New Franklin but was outscored 6-5 in the second.
