Fallen soldiers remembered and honored

Fallen and missing soldiers were remembered at the Veterans Day celebration with a special table. Sponsored by the Cole’s Fort Chapter Children of the American Revolution, the Fallen Solider table is a tribute to those members of arms missing from our midst.

LSE 8th girls win season opener against Eldon, 42-36

The LSE girls eighth grade basketball team had a great start to the season Thursday night by beating the Eldon Mustangs 42-36. The Lady Pirates, 1-0 on the season, outscored Eldon in three out of the four quarters and led 9-4 after one and 15-14 at the half.

Chester M. Twitchell

Chester M. Twitchell, 84, of Boonville passed away at his home on November 11, 2022. Funeral services honoring Chester’s life were held at 12 p.m., Tuesday, November 15 at Bible Baptist Church of New Franklin with Pastor Rodney Haggett and Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Lisbon, Mo. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church on Tuesday morning. Memorial contributions are suggested to Bible Baptist Church or Rose Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.marklandyager.
