Boonville Daily News to be delivered once per week

Dear Readers and Community Members, Today, we are announcing a change with the Boonville News. Currently a 2 day per week newspaper, as of the first of the year we will be delivering a weekly paper on Wednesdays. There will be commensurate changes to subscription prices, and current subscribers will see an extension of when their subscriptions expire.

Massive winter storm hits the Midwest

A massive winter storm descended upon the United States and Central Missouri on Thursday, bringing bone-chilling temperatures, blizzard conditions, power outages, and cancellations. Snow wasn’t the major factor for this storm.

Gibson signs cross-country, track letter of intent with CMU

Boonville senior Emily Gibson said she chose Central Methodist University for several different reasons during a signing at the BHS Commons on Friday, December 16. A four-year runner for the Boonville Lady Pirates cross-country and track teams, Gibson said she chose CMU for the Marine Biology program, and was honored that the university wanted her to run also.

Johnson signs wrestling letter at William Woods

Molly Johnson, a previous wrestler for Boonville High School, committed to the William Woods University Women’s Wrestling Team, announced Head Coach Jacob Lorentz. Johnson was a pioneer for her local high school wrestling team and will serve as one for the Woods Wrestling team in this inaugural season.
