Representatives from the Missouri Rural Water Association will be performing duties to document the City’s water and sewer infrastructure using Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping, according to the city’s website. Mary Sue Fontana writes that for the city to prepare for this task, blue, and green marking flags and paint will be used to identify the location of water meters, valves, and sewer manholes. Please do not remove these flags until after work is complete, which is tentatively schedules for February 18th or 19th. However, this is a very weather-dependent task, and it may not be completed until a later date. If you have any questions, you may contact City Hall. (660) 841-5524
