Tickets now available online and locally

To make it convenient to obtain tickets for the 4th Annual Sippin’ Strollin’ Rockin’ & Rollin’ celebration on October 18 in Historic Downtown Boonville, online ticket sales are now available through the Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce website—boonvillemochamber.com. The directions are simple. Once at the website, select the Events tab, which will show a calendar of events throughout the year. Then click on Sippin’ Strollin’ Rockin’ & Rollin’ which brings up the details for this year’s event, as well as a way to order tickets online or by using a QR code. The QR code is also included on the event flyer that is being distributed to local merchants and businesses throughout Boonville, Cooper County, and nearby communities.

Glasgow bridge replacement project timeline extended

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – Construction of the new Missouri Route 5 bridge over Bear Creek, in Glasgow, was originally scheduled to wrap up this month, but is now expected to continue through October. Until work is complete, the road will remain narrowed to one lane with temporary signals guiding motorists through the work zone.

Lutheran ladies host Fall Rally

The Tri-Parish Ladies Aide hosted forty Lutheran ladies and guests at Fall Rally on Saturday September 20th at the Clark’s Fork Trinity Lutheran Church. Special guest was Angela Kargbo from Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch; a Christ-centered residential center for troubled youth. The theme for the rally this year was You Are Loved. Comfort Crosses were made by the ladies to be included with encouragement cards for the youth at the ranch. Additionally, donations of approximately $1,000.00 were collected. For those attending the place was decked out in “ranch” décor and a chuck wagon themed menu was enjoyed by all.
