JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. –Today, on behalf of cattlemen and cattlewomen throughout the state, Governor Mike Kehoe proclaimed May as Beef Month in Missouri. Governor Kehoe presented the proclamation to members of the Missouri Beef Industry Council (MBIC), Missouri Cattlemen’s Association (MCA) and local beef producers during a ceremony at the Missouri Capitol.

JEFFERSON CITY, MO — The Missouri Department of Revenue is warning Missourians of ongoing nationwide text scams. The department has received a large increase in calls reporting these phishing texts. These texts are often threatening, claiming to be from the Missouri Department of Revenue or Department of Motor Vehicles and may include a warning regarding unpaid traffic violations, outstanding toll charges, or fines owed.

Boonslick Regional Library’s Outreach Services, BRLMobile2GO, provides outreach to Pettis, Benton and Cooper counties to residents who are not able to visit a library location, including senior centers, day cares, schools, community centers and remote areas. BRL2GO provides free Wi-Fi access to rural communities, brings books to community centers, schools and rural areas, delivers books on a schedule each month, brings specifically requested titles or a new collection at each visit, and provides all Outreach Services free of charge. JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Agriculture launched the 16th annual Focus on Missouri Agriculture photo contest. The Department invites Missourians to share their story of agriculture through photographs. The contest runs through June 6th and is an opportunity for photographers across the state to submit their best images of Missouri agriculture, which have been taken since January 1, 2022.
