Open house on June 28 to showcase renovations at new library

As fundraising efforts continue to provide needed furnishings for the Library’s new home on the Historic Kemper Campus, a glimpse of the completed renovations will be possible for the public during the Heritage Days community celebration. During Public Comments at Monday’s Boonville City Council Meeting, Mary Pat Abele shared, “It gives me the greatest pleasure to announce that there will be an Open House at the Library’s soon-to-be new home on the Historic Kemper Campus on Saturday, June 28, from 11 am to 3 pm, following the Heritage Days parade, and to share the first copies of the Open House flyers with you.” Serving as a Board Trustee and Chair of the Boonslick Regional Library (BRL) Cooper County Building and Expansion Committee for more than eight years, she reflected, “We’ve all worked very hard to turn this dream into a reality, but it truly would not have been possible without the help, support, and cooperation of the City of Boonville,” she added. “For that, and for the tremendous support we’ve received from the community, we will be forever grateful.”
