For years, the Boonville Branch of the Boonslick Regional Library has been holding an adult reading contest each winter.“If I were to make an educated guess,” stated librarian Cathy Birk, “I’d say it started in the first decade of the 2000s.”The program is for all adult readers aged 18 years of age and up.
The Cooper County Fair board annual BBQ Pork Steak Dinner is all set to be held on Saturday, January 13.Back to its normal fashion this year, the event will feature dine-in seating or carry-out options from 4 – 7 p.m.
