JAK scored one run in each of the first, third and fourth innings to beat VFM 3-0 in Babe Ruth 10U softball Monday night at Lions park.
Leah Vollrath led the hitting attack in the game for JAK, who improved to 3-0, with three doubles. Natalie Green had two doubles while Addie Hubach added two singles, Grace Phillips with one triple and Marci Lammers and Kaitlyn Maggard each with one single.
VFM, who dropped to 1-1 on the season, got singles each from Addison Brownfield, Skylar Andrews and Lauren Wiemer.
In the nightcap, CCB blanked JQT by a score of 110 in four innings.
CCB, improving to 3-0 on the season, broke a scoreless tie after one by pushing across two runs in the top-half of the second and then added five in the third and four again in the fourth to garner the victory.
CCB also out-hit JQT, who dropped to 0-3, with Kae Kaiser and Marin Hoelscher collecting three singles each. Ashlen Homan had two doubles while Josie Widel contributed one single and one double, Emily Gibson with two singles and Alyssa Groves, Alexis Schnetzler and Kinley Fox each with one single.
For JQT, Leah Lembke doubled while Addison Newell, Preslee Sunderland and Bailee Butler each singled.
