Two arrested in drug bust on Spring St.
COOPER COUNTY–During the early morning hours of September 13, Deputies of the Cooper County Sheriff's Office, Officers from the Boonville Police Department and the East Central Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at a residence located on 100 block of Spring Street, in Boonville, Missouri. As a result of the search warrant, officers seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. As a result of the investigation two (2) subjects were arrested for distribution of a controlled substance.
Carl A. Baker, 33, of Boonville was charged with possession of controlled substance unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of up to 35 Grams Marijuana
John A. Baldwin, 37, of Blackwater was charged with possession of controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, possession of up to 35 grams marijuana and keeping or mainaining a public nuisance.
Both subjects have a $25,000 cash or surety bond. They could not post and remain in the Cooper County Detention Center.
The East Central Drug Task Force was organized in 2001 and serves the cities of Bowling Green, Fayette, High Hill, Mexico, Montgomery City, New Florence, Warrenton, and Vandalia, the counties of Audrain, Cooper, Howard, Montgomery and Warren, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
